Shea Baasch is a California born, Michigan raised artist, currently based in New York City. Working with analog and digital processes, her photography is rooted in exploring contemporary feminity, queerness and identity. Her photography spans across documentary imagery to creating her own utopian narratives. Focusing on long term projects she uses the camera as her tool to share sentiments that can only be visualized and unspoken through time and attentiveness.

With a background in all forms of dance, she also has experience in choreographic projects, dancing in NYU’s Pulse Dance Project as well as photographing for their seasonal showcase promotional shoot.
